Elizabeth "Bette" H. Phillips

Elizabeth "Bette" H. Phillips, 92, of Grayling, MI passed away peacefully Friday, February 22, 2019. Bette was born December 20, 1926 in Terre Haute, IN to William and Charlotte (Crooks) Jardine. Bette is survived by children, Becky (Dick) Walrath of Grayling, MI, Marty Phillips of Grayling, MI, and Cheryl (Charlie) Stanfill of Las Vegas, NV; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, John William "Bill" Phillips of 61 years, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and daughter-in-law, Linda Phillips. Bette worked as an upper elementary math teacher for 13 years in Flint, MI, retiring in the 80's. Bette's family will hold a family memorial service in the summer.
