Max Eugene Prosser, 44, of East Lansing and formerly of Grayling, passed away on September 20, 2017. Max was born in Grayling, Michigan on April 5, 1973 to the late James and Joyce (Lawless) Prosser. He graduated from Grayling High School in 1991. Max married Kristy Hulbert on May 28, 2016. Max was actively serving in the Michigan Army National Guard as a Sgt. First Class. Max loved his children and always made sure they had everything they needed. He especially loved watching his children play in many sporting events. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Max had a Heart of Gold and was a mentor to many in uniform and in his personal life. He liked University of Michigan football and basketball, The Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers. Survived by his wife Kristy. Children: Caitlin (Peyton) Zigila of North Carolina, Cierra, Erin, and Emma Prosser of Grayling. Adley Prosser of East Lansing. Step children: Ava and Kohen Laudenslager of East Lansing. Grandson: Luke Zigila Mother: Joyce Prosser of Grayling. Brothers: Leroy (Renee) Prosser, Jr. of Kansas and Joseph (Lisa Stephan) Prosser of Florida. Sister: Cindy (David) Swiercz of Grayling. Many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home.
