Garwin Clinton "GARRY" Churchill

Garwin Clinton "GARRY" Churchill, 60, of Grayling and formerly of Flushing, passed away on April 26, 2018. He was born in North Branch, Michigan on February 13, 1958 to the late Byron and Normagene (Hunt) Churchill. Garry married Tawnya Sims on September 25, 1992 in Flint. Garry absolutely loved collecting guns. He was a member of the Flushing, Grayling and Houghton Lake Gun Clubs. While living in the Flushing area, he was a member of the Genesee Agricultural Society, Companion Dog Training Club, and Genesee County Kennel Club. He is a co-owner of North Country Lodge in Grayling. Survived by his wife Tawnya of 25 years. Children: Amanda Churchill of Milan, Crystal (Chris) Zavicar of Brooklyn, Michigan; Candace Churchill of Evart; and Jeremy Churchill of Grayling. Grandchildren: Nathan Brown, Naudia Churchill, and Kenneth Churchill, Jr. Sister: Vonnie Jo (Jim) Acre of Monroe. Preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Jennifer.
