Charles "DICK" Keelean

Charles Richard "DICK" Keelean, 83, of Grayling, passed away on January 30, 2017. He was born on July 8, 1933 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Charles E. and Margaret (Swanson) Keelean. He married Sylvia Phillips in Detroit, Michigan on August 8, 1954. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Enjoyed hunting, boating, and fishing. Dick was a loving father and husband. He was a truck driver, retired from the Teamsters Union. Dick was a member of the Grayling Moose Lodge. Survived by his wife Sylvia of 62 years. Daughters: Beverly Harris of Tennessee and Deborah (James) Esco of Alabama. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Sisters: Donna Richardson of Marion and Sandra Cooper of Cadillac. Preceded in death by his parents and sons, Charles and Kenneth Keelean. There are currently no public services planned.
