Mission Statement:
To provide personalized, individual, professional, compassionate, and caring service to those who have recently lost a loved one due to death. To provide assistance to families and persons responsible for making the final arrangements for a loved one. Serve people in the community that stand in need of assistance with death care issues such as pre-need, at-need, and after care needs as grief does not end at the place of final disposition. Our service does not end on the day of the funeral.
Personalized service means learning about the deceased person and what made them special in life. Knowing about a person's hobbies, career, special interests, and other things that make that person a “Unique Individual” can allow us to plan a special way of honoring the one that has died. We realize that when a person becomes ill, that a portion of time spent dealing with the illness is often just a fraction of the person's life as a whole and the entire life needs to be recognized.
Funeral service is a 24/7 profession that is often unpredictable. It is our goal to carry on regardless of how “busy” we may be as a whole entity and strive to maintain individuality to all that we serve. Another aspect of professional service is maintaining confidentiality. Our commitment is that every aspect of your business will be kept private. Under no circumstance will we give out phone numbers, addresses, etc without your permission. We would rather have something mailed directly to the funeral home and pay the postage than to have your information fall into the wrong hands.
In trying to provide compassionate and caring service, we realize that no matter what experiences we have personally had, they are not even similar to what you are going through at your time of need. One of the things that can be unfortunate to our family in providing care for your loved one is that we often do not “know” the person that has died.
After spending a couple of days working with your family, we often wish we had been blessed with the privilege of knowing YOUR loved one that we serve to honor.
It is our goal to be involved within the community and participate in events that contribute to better our community. It is our goal to utilize and promote as many local businesses and services as possible.
Our Commitment to the Community:
We are receptive to creative ideas for a service as long as it is done in the tone of respect and honor of the deceased person. We try to utilize new ideas in funeral service.
We maintain professional affiliation, membership, and involvement in state and national funeral directors association. We strive to keep current in continuing education offerings as related to funeral service, grief and bereavement, and health care concerns that relate to our community.
Our goal is to be involved in the activities and events that support our community. We are currently members of Grayling Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, and Grayling Youth Boosters.
